    Re: Honda Prelude

i gave the car a bit of a tidy up, cleaned out the interior, gave the motor another quick wash & washed all the mud off the side of the car

all i need to do now is fix/replace the sunroof & weld up the exhaust to get a wof. after that, the car will probably want a oil change, atf change, p0a ecu, IAT sensor and some new climate controls. sweet

    Re: Honda Prelude

the steering wheel is indeed ugly, i was thinking of sticking a accord one on there when i was cleaning the car out lol. i have more electrical failure, alternator is munting again. took it for a drive, was going mint, then lights and stuff went dim, and left me stranded on the road. had to run 5km to get help cause my phone decided it didnt want to remember anyones numbers stored i could smell some electrical failure in the alternator when it was running, so i guess tomorrow i'll get a known good working alternator and put its internals into this one. better work!!!

good news though i got the exhaust welded up. heres pics

this is why I had to swap down pipes

this is why i couldn't just swap the whole exhaust

so i cut off this thing here

welded it on to the prelude exhaust

and done! yay. car is quiet now

also, this bike is for sale

    $20

not at the moment but il tell you right off the back if its and exterior piece it probably wont be any good but anything else i'd sell you... but just in case you need info heres the specs... it a 93 si. automatic h23 (blown motor) entire right side is totaled but some pieces on the left side are usable. interior is missing stuff here and there but mostly everything is there. jut tell me what you need and ill check for it... and ill post pics when i get time cuz i just started working again and the car isnt at my house its at a buddys house so ill have to ride out there for the pics... but the good news is im workn again and now my accord may be getting the engine it needs to be driven again

cool! i might require some electrical parts as i blew up almost everything in tjhis car woops. anyways some good news, i swapped in some alternator internals from a known good b20a alternator & it's working fine now. so went to take it for a wof to see what it will fail on, next thing i know they're scraping the old sticker off and putting a new one on W0oOTT so now after getting some stupid expensive rego, the car is now legal & road worthy again. wof guy just said to replace the sunroof & paint the pillars

    Re: Honda Prelude

matt, you dont need the symbol to tell what it is, notice it says r24 or r26 or something by it, r means resistor. i guess u will need to figure out what the resistance of said resistor used to be so u can fix it haha

by the heater controls do you mean the little slider that turns it on or the actual wire harness?
