    1989 Accord something

In a hurry, it was turning dark. Nothing much to see right at the moment though, now you know that the Accords on the other side of the world looks more boring.

@gtmst3: They were supposedly off some 1980s Toyota Corolla. Probably an AE82 sedan or something like that, and we kept that set of wheels for probably a decade or more.

@Mellexx: Funny for you to say that, because when we got the car it got a giant (dented) fart can on the back, and a large aftermarket tacho that's set wrongly. Both were removed over time.

@Others: Hah, there's another CA Accord down the street with the other rear tail lights (yeah, we get both the fixed lights and the flip-up versions here). Apparently the owner of that car spend every morning sitting in his car.

EDIT: The rice parts removed from the car.

EDIT 2: This is the other kicker. For some reason, our family love to keep Accords, and we also have a 2G Accord that has been with us since 1994. And with the family since 1982.

Pics of 2G later in the day, dad took it out to fix some things.

Your handbrake area is diffrent from mine.. could you show a pic of it? i can fit my CD player under my handbrake..

Im rather loving your carb air filter.. but whats holding down your battry?

Damn, the engine bay looks way cleaner with Right hand drive. I thought you didnt have AC for a bit, cause your lines are so much more sensibly routed lol. Not to mention the clutch cable dosnt go ALLL the way across the engine to the transmission..

    Re: 1989 Accord something

Much obliged. As far as I'm concerned, 3G Accords sold here are pretty much more or less EUDM-ish fixed-light Accords (probably UK-spec) without some bits, like the rear bumper lights and cruise control, and then JDM/USDM flip-up Accords as higher trim levels. We don't get any trims with the DOHC B20A engine, highest engine spec is probably the A20A4.

For the battery, it is a combination of a tray and a clamp thingy.

As for A/C, they are pretty much standard equipment for every car sold here. Given the sort of weather we have in Malaysia, it makes sense to have them since the heat can go all year round.

Damn dude, that handbrake cover thing is TONS better than mine! I just have the normal one with the antenae switch near the shifter, and the rest is flat.. no cool little compartment, or 3 button thing.. awesome, man!

Is your handbrake closer to the driver seat? it looks like it is...

That's what we get for being in North America: lame options.

    Also, RHD. (:

Nor easy, for that matter. Mine's power and I still have to pull it out by hand.
