    Header

    Toneloc's Pacesetter header he was selling in the "pre 1990 related" section is now mine =] just paid not cleared or shipped yet any suggestions? No welder so hopefully no fab work is needed lmao

    If he has already modified it then you won't to do anything. Just plug and play. If not then it will have to have a flex joint welded in place of the ball end joint. Otherwise it will squeak everytime you move.

    actually im just using the actual header i have a fully welded exhaust from the downpipe back. im gunna install it with the header that would work right? it has a flex joint on it not ball type

    If it hasn't already been done, you'll want to grind down the egr pipe where it sticks out inside the primary.

    The header will most likely not mate up to the down pipe without some modification.

    if it doesnt than i cut that down pipe on bothe than either have them welded or get a joint and clamp them together either way im gettin a header on there

    You want to use that header whole. IIRC, the secondaries on the Pacesetter are quite a bit longer than the secondaries on the stock down pipe. Just have it cut before the cat and have it all welded together. I'd go this route because you already have the rest of it welded up. You're going to want some sort of flex pipe in there somewhere, though.

    Ok so i got my header in last night and i dont know what goes in all four holes. theres the o2 sensors i see them the anotherpipe/EGR? that goes into the cyl 3 pipe but theres a huge hole idk what goes in there... its the biggest one.. heres a pic


    and while i was bored i hooked up this voltage gauge i have looks neat

    That is, I beleive the air suction fitting for carbed models.. I just welded it shut. Might be too much trouble to find a bung for it.

    i found out that a manual tranny fill bolt fits same with the egr the automatic fill plug works too
