    87 Exi

Just something I picked up last winter, I have been flipping low mileage Hondas for a couple years but I knew I had to keep this one at least for a while. Only 130,000 kilometers on it when I bought it, up to 140k now.

    Picture time

Freshly lowered on ebay Coilovers and freshly painted 90's "Centra" mags

Decent offset on the rims lends itself to a good looking stance.

    Rim closeup before center decals

A short while later, Yakima rack, red belt line, and two badass bmx's on the roof.

    Sport Utility Honda

I went and got one of those 1st gen. Integra lips everyone is on about and spaced it down as low as possible, looks awesome. Also got back into by a cab and now had Gold hood and headlight tin instead of the "Shuttle Metallic" like the rest of the car.

I'll post current pictures this weekend.

Rides terrible, blew all four shocked through the top hats.

Got another set out of the parts car i got the new hood and light covers off of. Planning on doing the extended top hat mod.

The shocks only had 1.5" of travel left with the car all the way down on the coil overs and i smoked some raised casting sticking 2" out of the ash fault, so you can do the math on that one.

From '86-'88 our cars (my coupe, both of your sedans) were called "Misty Beige", and '89 it was changed to Seattle Silver. No Shuttle Silver, and the "Champagne" is the metallic piss.

    See here.

    Re: 87 Exi

Picked up the rims off a guy with tires for $150, they where machined face with black powder coated inserts and curb to oblivion. Blasted them off (btw HATE blasting powdercoat) and then filed em down and filled in the curb rash and sprayed em off. Tires are 205/50/15.

As for rim dimensions I am not sure about offset but I think they were 8 wide. never payed to much mind, I was just happy they fit on there so well. Next summer I'll definiatly be slapping some more serious offset on there, easily pull another inch + on the outside lip.

Heres the gold hood and light tin and the chin spoiler.

Thank god for that chin spoiler, seeing the bottom of the rad support was hella lame. Plus it looks more canned from the front now.

    Re: 87 Exi

Lovin the lip, but i realy dont like the bike rack lol. I'd be upset if i had that with a sunroof. If you check out my topic for the 89, and the 87, youll notice i have a visor with deflectors on my roof, it sends air into the car from the sunroof. It makes me happy.

to all you guys who want sedans ... they're not too hard to find lol. Im lookin for a hatch tho... wonder where i'll find one of those.. and in manual. They seem to all be AT.

Well I rock a bmx so i love the rack, plus the cross bar is right over the sunroof so i hang my arm off it when im clipping down the freeway. Im a windows down kinda guys so I dont need any extra air.

That works, then. I cant open the window cause my hair stabs my eyes ... not helpful. with the sunroof deflector it pushes the air down at my legs and body, but not my face, so its perfect. By the way, how did you get that red line on there? im thinkin of painting my trim body color, then putting a black line around..
