I think those are the 88-89 bumper lights (mine are like your's, I just replaced the amber lens with clear plastic). But they only house the blinker. The parking lights are in the corner lenses here in the US.

The lights im talking about are the ones that are in Tomisimo's front bumper.
Those must be with 2 light bulbs? Or not?

^ Those are. From the factory, the bumpers with two lights (white/amber) having daytime running lamps that are ALWAYS on (white) and turn signals (amber).

Wonder what specific markets they are for....not seen anything like that except on Tomisimo's. Even then, I didn't notice them until Fedor mentioned them up there ^^^. Not really as interested in them as I am the Euro market corners though.

They're for mainland Europe. They got the "driving lights" mandate back in the 90's like Canada.

All European (and some Asian) sedans have the two part bumper lights, mine included.

I've shaved the ugly fender blinkers tho and replaced the dummy reflectors with JDM corner lights.

I thank you for the offer and the reply on my p.m.
I found a set of original new '88 sedan lights abroad.
Could you measure the lights for me? I like to be sure they will fit before buying the new set.

All pre-facelift lights fit all pre-facelift bumpers (I don't think Europe ever got the factlift). So, if the bumper is the same, you're good.

Got APK on the car today, so it's legal to drive now, it's about time, have it for almost 4 months and just put in the second tank of V-power.
It turned out not so cheap. But have fresh disk-brakes, calipers and pads on the front, new upper suspension arm front, 2 dust cover of rot tip, some more dust things, a rubber here and a spring washer or 6 there, etc, and a new wiper on the back.
Also did (not APK) oil, filter, cylinder head cover gasket, and i think thats about it, for this year.
The last owner did not do his APK (Tüv in Germany) at the Honda dealer, thats for sure. I like them to find it all.
Wil need a set of front tires soon, trying to save up for the drop as well.
Don't want a shorter spring drop, had it with my previous accords, and it sucks. Like it to be adjustable this time.
Did not park the car underneath the carport today, don't trust the old thing, with snow and ice on top. Like it to be spring again....

@Charlie, it took a while, but the steering wheel cover has been send out today! Holland -> USA
I'm slow, I know, but a man of my word. Put it in a box just like i took it of, so it does not look at his best now, All ropes remains are still there, etc.
    Enjoy it.

Bill of MOT arrived today, I knew it would be high, and its always even a bit more. I know 1 thing, next year wil be better.
When weather is okay i will do the max. speed test soon, like to see what i (it) can do.
BTW, car let me down some 2 weeks ago, it died on me 3 meter before te driveway. Felt like out of fuel, but tank was almost full.
Would not start for a while, I replaced the fuel filter (looked old) and problem has not returned.

Fuel pump relay? Seems a common complaint on injected Honda of the era & tends to be an intermittent problem.

    Love the car.

    Now waiting for right.
Don't think its a original Honda part, but its new, cheap, and fits just fine.

    Re: Fedor's '89 Aerodeck EX 2.0i

    Thanks guys!

    Drove through Germany yesterday evening.
No ideal conditions, bad road surface, dark and it was freezing a little.
But managed to set a nice top.

This iPhone GPS app. is not very clear about the exact speed.
But the red triangle is the top speed.
It was a little downhill, but i think its 200 km/h (little over 124 miles/hour) at about 5600 rpm.

Wil do it again, during daytime with lights off and down. Wil take some better GPS then to.

Earlier that day my RMP meter was running mutch to high (not mutch at low rpm, the more rpm the more deviation), a restart didn't help, later it went back to normal by itself when i was driving, anyone have an idea?

yes, it depends on your engine temprature, when the engine is at its working temp. you sud have 2000rpm at 60kmH in 4th gear, I noticed this, after I was driving right after I jump in the car and take off, I usually get 2500RPM at 60 in 4th, but when the endine is hot 2000RPM.
