    B18a1

    Hey,

Im thinking of pulling a B18A1 from the local junkyard if I run into one.

If I do im going to pull it and let it set in my garage, slowly taking it apart, replacing all the gaskets and polishing/replacing the pistons and just cleaning it up, then slowly rebuilding it up for it to swap into my Hatch eventually.

I dont reckon itll be for awhile but I would like to know..

Is there a list of parts from other B-series motors that will go onto it, or even parts from the A20 that will fit it, like exhaust manifold, headers, alternator, all that good stuff.

I like my A20 motor and if parts like that can also be used on a B-series that saves me some time, work, and money.

Im not worried about mounting it in or putting it in yet, just getting my hands on it and working on it.

Idk.. Im still debating on what I want to do.. I love my A20A1. To see it boosted would be awesome.

Idk.. maybe this whole thread should be deleted. Im going to stick with my A20 and build it up.

    Arghh.. being indecisive sucks...

I want to turbo and build my A20 but I want to stay carbed also. The FI swap is pretty maddening ive heard. I suppose though ill do it if I must. Ive heard carb turbos are very aggresive for street cars.

Idk has anybody actually done a carb turbo setup? if so.. how did it actually turn out?
