Seat belt and open door light stay on

When the car starts up the seat belt light and the door open light always stay on. Im positive that I have my door closed and I know when I have my seat belt on. Some times if I hit a bump in the right spot they turn off for a few seconds then come right back on. Has anybody had this situation before? or can anybody help?

spray some WD-40 in the door switch and check the wire that goes up the base of the seatbelt to make sure it isn't cut

I put a zip tye around my girlfriends so when the door hit it it would push a little farther.

If you look under the seat there is a little connector, disconnect that and you will never see that seat belt sign again. I put ear plugs in my door sensor so the car thinks that it's always closed. Yah it's a terrible patch, but it works.

what i did was disconnect the harness from the top by the windshield...i think it was 2 screws...i did it with the car running while my girlfriend filled out an application...it was that easy...now no more bs...just a no seatbelt light on the dash if i dont buckle up...no more beep beep beep though
