no, i am worried about the actual tranny mount itself, will it fit and be properly lined up on a hydro tranny

i dont fully understand the question but if you are replacing a cable actuated b series trans with a hydro, yes its a bolt in swap. Might be a different flywheel though. If you are trying to put a b series trans on an a20a block, I cant help YET
ok, let me make my question more simple. do the hydro and cable trany share the exact same bolt mount bolt hold pattern. will a hydrolic mount bolt on to a cable tranny and vice versa

^ to my knowledge no. this is why innovative (for the ef chassis) makes a hydro mount you can buy.

I hate to contradict, but the only difference between the hydro and the cable b-series transmission is the mechanism. The mounting bolt holes, and transmission mount are the same.

i hate it too.

then why would innovative specifically sell different mounts for either hydro or cable?

now i wouldn't completely discredit what legend is saying but i want him to explain what he means. he is definitely more of an authority on this subject when it comes to the accord than i am.
this is a hydro housing for a b16, from teh 97 del sol vtec.
here's the diagram of the 90-91 cable trans from an integra
i'm just looking at how the mounts would bolt to the transmission housing and the mounts for the accord definitely look like the 3 bolt design that would bolt the cable housing. now you mentioned a bracket. is it that there is a bracket that you can use to attach the cable mount to the hydro housing? because, it looks to me, that the cable mounts have 2 holes that are lower and one hole that is higher where as the hydro mount looks relatively flat. i just don't see how the cable mount could work even with a bracket with it being recessed so much.
this is what i mean...
see that in comparison to this,

Stat looks like your right. I got my info from a couple swaps that I did with friends. There was a bracket placed on the transmission that allowed us to use the same mounts in a cable car on a hydro tranny. Looking over the two part pictures, there is definitely a big difference. If that is the case, that means there is no readily available hydro transmission option for the 3g. I actually prefer the cable over Hydro because you can adjust the clutch mechanism and you actually feel the clutch when your pressing on the pedal.
well, my thought was, much like the d-series, there is what you're talking on oem mount options. like in the ef you can use a combination of mounts to make it work without buying swap mounts and there may be a bracket, but i know as far as the swap mounts go you're stuck, now i'm sure it's possible to buy one of these hydro mounts and modify it, and send it back to innovative or maybe one of us could email innovative about making a hydro option. but i'm with you, cable is much better, the only problem is they're disappearing. also, another problem is mounting the pedal assembly that's necessary for hydro options, although there is a kit that uses the cable to actuate the clutch for hydro trans. pretty nifty.

if your running a heavy duty twin disc clutch you much rather a hydro tranny, i am just saying. no really, i want to be able to hide the hydro lines and i already have a hydro tranny.

i definitely think the hydro trans are better it's just the ease of cable actuation etc...
if you're good with a mig you could custom mod one of those mounts i posted i'm sure.
