    Re: Shyboy's 89 Coupe

quick question: since im going b series would i just use the Acc. cable from a b18c? since it would be the length to the TB and not make any custom work on the cable?

Already got the pedal assy i just gotta put it on and work on the saving for the motor. and trans

    Re: Shyboy's 89 Coupe

Should be able to use the stock cable. If it wasn't long enough/too long, it would be easier to make up/modify the bracket that bolts to the plenum than messing around with cables. I've used the one accelerator cable on a few different setups & that's all i did

have you installed it or not yet?...i was thinking of doing that as well since it would bolt right on to the intake manifold...

I like the idea of moving it for the room but I'm just not sure about that spot. I plan to move the box as well, but I am going to put it under the dash so it will have no contact with weather and I will still easily be able to change a fuse if needed.
Lol funny you should say.... It was not a good idea haha so I got a new one and its on the passenger side nOw.

    Re: Shyboy's 89 Coupe

oh alright Josh it looks like ill be doing the same as you mentioned.

As for the car: i been lazy lately haha that i haven't really tried to install the pedal assy. but ill get to it maybe on Tuesday. Once installed ill be buying the cables needed for the intake and trans. i just wanna get the interior finished so i could start working on the engine bay. feel like getting the car painted before i put the motor in for safety reasons. Sorry i wont be posting many pictures of the car cause i been seeing alot of owners posting their car being stolen...but i will be more than happy to meet up with b series owners and A series when i finish the project. I'm just learning from other people, so being cautious wouldn't hurt...don't mean it in a bad way. If you wanna see progress of the car they will be on my facebook were only people i know or talked to on this site. Only friends can view. Ill be posting on this thread for to let you know how is everything. Thanks for reading and looking! Oh And the Help .

    Re: Shyboy's 89 Coupe

Update: well i got the fuse box all settled in for now till i wanna re-loom everything. Also started working on the pedal assembly today, i could of had it done today but i couldn't find my needle nose pliers to take the pin off from the brakes > so yeah im pretty pissed and its a pain in the ass to work on if its your first time doing it haha so much shit that had to be moved so i wouldn't break anything as these plastic pieces are very FRAGILE!

Also ill be using the looms that are there for the 5speed, so i could use the factory instead of cutting the wires.

I still got some parts for sale if your interested in your car being stock. PM for whats left. Dizzy has been sold and awaiting shipment...

I gotta take of the blue thing that looks like a clutch. guessing its the flex plate? who knows, um gonna do a shaved engine bay and re-paint black but for now im gonna clean the bay as soon as the rain passes by.

that's the torque converter, has a whole bunch of 10mm bolts on the engine side of it that you can probably only access from underneath

    Re: Shyboy's 89 Coupe

Not that anyone cares lol here are some pics. well just 2.

Just cleaning of all the gunk and tomorrow im going to bondo the extra holes to make it look less ugly so the b18c(when i get it) looks good in there. been to lazy to do anything with the car but finally coming around in putting more work in. Should be on the road this year! after sitting for 2 years or so at the house.

I took off some mount that looked like it didn't do anything so i took it off. it was next to the front motor mount.

hopefully ill have some more updates this week or the next. still undecided on the shift linkage...???

    Re: Shyboy's 89 Coupe

    Update!!!
So i have been thinking on what wheels to get so later today im gonna pick up a set of LS Mesh from the Integra. They are not gonna be for the black coupe sadly cause i got black enkie 92's in mind. Also i bought brembo blanks and in the procress in ordering EBC yellowstuff brake pads then get a set of SS brake lines! All this will go on the grey coupe since its driveable till i get its new motor ready. Oh the color of the rims are bronze with silver lip. Ill post pics later tonight of them rims. stay tuned 3geez.
