Update:
Started to do the relocation for the fuse box and removed powersteering and im having trouble taking out that long hose that connects to the back bottom. should i cut it of is there a way how?
ok so i read everything for the OBD1 conversion and so far looks like alot of hard work and looks like it may take some time to do but im gonna do it anyways since im free on thursday's thru sunday.
so heres the thing...i dont know which ecu to use. i been looking at the P75 and using the GSR distributor and making my own harness unless someone on here makes them to sell i would like to buy one.
any input would be great
Thanks
Pico you are the Man!!
would this harness only work with the PR4? or any Ecu with non vtec? still thinking of the of the P75 Ecu if not then the PR4 sounds good.
hope he is still making them
and i will also need a distributor and dapter plate. so i guess i better start saving to get everything.
Thanks Pico
i was not happy when i came across this
im losing interest since i dont get enough money to do all in one time so i might be on this project for a while...
Last pic of it as it sits
Update:
I finish the relocation to the fuse box and started to remove the auto trans.
i still need to make a mount for the fuse box and wait for a sale to come along to get started with the 5spd. i Can't Wait!

i had a fail like that with the cam belt, when I installed it, i forgot to put that little round thing that goes over the crank thing before you put the crank pulley on. that made the belt come half way off the cams and cut a hole in the plastic belt covers. i prolly make no sense, but if you pull off the pulley and the belt cover, you will see one on the other side of the belt on the crank, you'll just need one of those, easily pocketed from a junkyard
will post them later today messy.
thanks and you do make sense kinda figured something wasnt right and the previous ower told me he changed it so guess it aint on there right or he forgot to put it back on there. just on question: how do you take of the Cam?Originally Posted by A18A
Damn! who would of thought it would be hard to remove the head i can't even loosen the screws lol.
i will post pics tonight.
alright i manage to loosen the screws and gonna start to change the head gasket but before i do that im gonna check how milking the oil is and see if there is any damage to the piston rings. hopefully to take the off the auto transmission sometime later down the week completely and sell it. is there anything else i should look for relating to a blown head gasket?
previous owner told me he changed everything but the head gasket.
the trans it self is just a baby sitting at 102k. looking to trade if someone has a 5spd laying around that doesnt want to use it. just looking for one with less than 200k on the trans. prefer everything for the swap and will be happy to pick up if local. just name the asking price.
Alright here the pic of the relocation for the fuse box.Still making a custom mount for the box and to protect it from the rain(will not be driven in rain) when driving.
Not a great pic.
and um i dont know whether its oil or water but here is the oil i took out from the motor. I didnt expect it to be this color so its gonna make me double check all the seals that have been replaced.
Also started to work on removing the trans shifter and trans will be next on the list.
Not one of the safest ways to work on the car.
well thats all for the update till tomorrow stay tuned.
Oh dude. Jack stands are a LOT cheaper than funerals. Please go get some!
