Um i Need a huge Favor Fellas,

I got this Black Prelude wing off a 91 and notice that is probably like a inch and a half longer. i was Wondering 3G members that have the original oem rear spoiler could give the size of the wing and how far are the holes from the trunk edge to edge and center. this will help me out on where to set the wing in a proper way without it looking like crap.

i have a couple pics with it on it but not secure, it sucks that it curves at the ends.... i found another one on a prelude that look similar to a 3g oem but the bastards broke the shit out of it. i was gonna in stall the black one on the 4dr and the red one on the 2dr but oh well. i guess the 2dr will keep the black one and i will make sure the wing will look good with the car .

this is an awesome effin wing. i think i know what i'm lookin for at my next trip to the junkyard. the lines of the wing are perfect, that looks better than a 4g spoiler any day (and it's not even mounted yet!). this to me is a very sublte mod that is absolutely dead on w/ upgrading the 3gee's appearance.

Mark don't install it yet. Ill get you the dimensions of the original holes first. And IMO that wing is too round to flow with the boxiness of our cars.

    Re: Shyboy's 89 Coupe

ok i unbolted the head and header is off completely.

i was wondering if it would come off with the intake manifold still attach or would i have to remove it as well to get the head off?

the head moves but i can't get it to lift up unless its that heavy to lift? im guessing it weighs like a 100 lbs?

well any info on taking the head off would be great the sooner i get it off then i can work on the head gasket and piston rings. thank you for any input.

there is a bracket on the bottom side of the intake manifold. its like 3 10mm bolts. Take it off and leave it of. its a pain in the ass

Looking Good, Glad to see you didn't go CAH and roll down the windows and paint the whole car thinking you wouldn't have to mask it off

Great work there, it looks like your gasket kinda took a beating.

And the fender looks good as well. can't wait to get to see this in person.

yeah the gasket was pretty messed up compared to the new one haha i just hope this will fix the low compression and smoke it had before

you'll be the second person to see the car since tom helped me bring the coupe home.

might have to wait on the turbo just to see how the motor does after the new parts are installed.

tomorrow im gonna work on the trans and try to take it out since i have more room to work with finally im getting more progress on the car and could be done by May or beginning of june or the car will be finished next month if i wanted to keep stock but since its a baby she'll be getting alot more stuff .

Nio I might be heading down to the junkyard next month and start grabbing a few things don't know if you wanna come if you dont mind the drive haha?
