I haven fit the new one yet. Those pics are from the old setup. The stock dog bone will stay for now.

No dog bone life! Get the poly rear mount and a solid front mount and ur good to go.

It's nice to keep it because it will save the other mounts in the long run

if you are going to keep the dog bone mount you should order automatic honda bushings for it and fill it up with 3m window weld to make a polyurethane bushing. Or go with Guyanabo did on his and used a aftermarket engine damper on that mount.

I've been running a solid front and no dog bone mount for years. There's no excessive rattling or vibrations.

I think the dogbone itself can transfer a whole lot of vibration to the firewall...which is directly connect to the dash & steering column= visa versa

Mounted the intercooler and trimmed the front bumper to fit. Still need to fab a couple of upper mount brackets for the intercooler.

I'm not sure yet. I'm still debating on how hidden I want to make it.

i say keep it hidden, just get the biggest puller flans you can afford and slap them on the rad. maybe make a duct or something to be sure it pulls air through the IC

    Re: EricW's Motor build thread

I haven't done anything on it yet. Finally got all of the holidays over with and the garage straightened back up. If the weather is decent tomorrow I'm going to try and go out and work on it.
