    Talking The Talon

    Ok, this camera sucks, I know the pics are grainy, but oh well...

    I tried to get as good of background as Jim, but the camera fucked it up

    OFF ROAD!!!



    Well, thats the new ride. It's ALL stock, only thing i did was change the oil, timing belt, and add a boost gauge cause the foctory one bounced around too much, and wasn't too accurate.

    I Still have the hatch, looking to sell it (if you couldn't tell by the sig). I would love to keep the Honda, but that's $2,300 that could go to the Talon ($2,300+4G63+AWD=mid to high 13s) I REALLY want to sell it to someone on the board, but I don't see that happening, so I guess I'll just do some kind of buyer screening and make them fill out applications and come to interviews and shit...:lol

    I did walk my ass off, that was a 2 hour photo shoot....my shoes are DIRTY! Prolly walked like 2miles total, climbing mountains and shit...:smokin:

    I tool like 8 pics of my car at different angles with that mountain as a background, but they all came out more grainy that the above pics...(yes its possible ) There is another mountian to the other side that looks awesome, but the sunlight wouldnt have let the pics turn out, so I didn't try to use it...

    I like the looks of the 1G Talon as well as the Eclipse. The 2 and 3G models are butt-ugly in my opinion.

    Why in the hell did you shoot your car in Green Valley/Henderson area??? Shoulda gone completely Las Vegas style and do it in the strip or in front of the the Las Vegas sign. Or did it at the industrial park we were at last week. You wanna take more pictures...talk to me next time, I'll find you some sweet spots.

    yours defintly has the potential, the other one you posted is excellent, n1 owns. i am really starting to like that kind of eclipse, my buddy just bought one so he could garage his supra. but they are really cool, good choice on cars.

    Car looks good, but correct me if I am wrong. Dont the 90's have a 3bolt rearend? If so I would look to upgrade to the 4bolt rearend. Also, start searching for another engine soon. I have never heard of DSM in my area with that many miles on it and still on the factory engine (not putting the car down). There are SOOOOOO MANY DSMs here in CT. Tripledigitmotorsports specializes in them. they have some nice ones. good luck.

    All the 1gs I see around here have raspy falling off exhausts, FADED paint like you wouldnt believe and sound like total shit.

    I'm not woried about the rear-end, it will be a while before I have enough Hp to break the 3 bolt

    Go to DSMtalk.com there are TONS af DSMs in the 150k range, if milage was that kind of issue I would have held out for one with less miles

    the first thing that i would do on an eclipse is get a front mount intercooler and a super loud blow off valve so i could just go blowin off everywhere... that is the tightest sound EVER! i like your ride... its got mad potential... there are alot of DSM's in toledo cause there is a shop here that also specializes in them, they are good cars but the turbos are shit on them.... id go aftermarket so you dont have to worry about the oil seals
