    p/s delete?

if i delete my power steering, is there a way i can keep lubricant in the steering rack? like just run a small hose from the inlet to the outlet on the rack? or would it be ok without lubricant?

you can loop the lines to keep fluid in the rack.
keep in mind it will be hard to steer while parking.
You could also run a remote reservoir to keep fluid in the rack, it's been done before you just have to search for the thread or go online and search for P/S delete
And you have to keep it lubricated with fluid

awesome! thanks. i'll probably just loop a line for now, till i find a small resevior that i can tap so i can make sure there's no fluid loss.

If you disassemble the rack and remove the piston and seals the power steering fluid is no longer necessary. You just need grease for the bushings, rack, and pinion.
