    retro fitted projectors

Well i finally got them in. idk how to post pics but here are some urls to them. Hope it works.

I bought the projectors from here.
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ht_3988wt_1008

What i noticed after the install is that they drew less current from my battery so that was a plus and they were brighter than the old sealed beams. My next step will be to get a HID kit for my low beams and if they're bright enough i'll get rid of the hi beam projectors. I live in the city and i rarely use my hi beams so i'll be able to do with out them.

nice idea. Is there any way for you to get them perfectly square in the opening. It looks liek the drivers side is offset to the center. I think it would look great if you can make a outer housing out of ploy carbonate / plexi-glass to give it a flush look.

those are tight! i wouldn't bother with covering them. I'd just mold the lids with the hood

kinda. i got the plexi glass stuff all cut up and bended it right. i just had to figure out how i was gonna keep them on. i was thinking gorilla glue. the only thing that is stopping me is this weather here. it rains a lot.

do you think an epoxy would work? maybe try it on a scrap peice of plexi to make sure they don't have a reaction together(melting plexiglass)

    look great so far!

it should be ok with an epoxy , i use it on poly carbonate all the time. One thing with attaching the plexi-glass or any plastic with an adhesive, scuff/sand areas where the adhesive will be, it'll stick better.
