    New here.

Hi all, I just picked up a 1989 Accord LX-i sedan 5-spd blue on blue with the fuel injected motor, and came on here to learn more about the car, where to buy parts, and how to make repairs. I live in Pennsylvania and hope that this will make a great winter car. So far I have done the pcv valve, changed the oil, and will be doing valve cover gasket whenever it comes in this week. I'm pleasantly surprised at how solid these cars are, and how everything on the car still works after all these years including the power sunroof, cruise control, pop up headlights, etc. This is a true testament to Honda build quality. I used to own a 1990 Nissan 240SX with much less miles and it was a piece of junk!

    Re: New here.

welcome dude! I loved my 87 lxi... I drove the piss out of mine and it never quit... I had to sell it because i had 5 cars at the time, and a friend in need... he drove that thing until he settled with Toyota on his celica motor then he gave the car to his dad who has been driving it for who knows how long...
Mine was wrecked, flooded, and caught fire, and it still kept going without any problems!!

    Re: New here.

Thanks for the welcomes, and great story hondalude! I'll post up some pics of my cars.

    The 89 Accord

My 2000 Tiburon, which used to be the daily driver until I got the Accord, now my fiance drives it mostly.

And then my 2003 M3, which is just kind of a weekend car during the nice months. I don't get to drive it much in general, but its away in hibernation right now until spring.
