    newbie question.

    I have a 1988 accord lx-i hatchback and want to get another hood. what years will fit my hood?

    sorry for the newb question.

    I think all the Hoods from 1986-1989 are all the same

    arnt all the hoods for our cars look the same?
    other than that u could possibly find a carbon fiber hood

    There aren't any hoods that fit from other cars, and other than the carbon fiber, I don't think there were any other aftermarket hoods.

    Other than that, all hoods from all years (1986-1989) and trims are the same, minus the interchangeable grill.

    the corners of the grill bolted to the hood are different, but they come off. the actual hood itself is identical between all years and all body styles 86-89, the only difference is the under hood decal. Has anyone ever seen if a second generation lude hood would fit? they have the same pop up lights, I think the grill, light trim and lower trim would have to be swapped, but I wonder if they would fit? on a sedan they would look like a prelude, but on a hatch it would look a lot different
