first of all, it does not look like a supercharger. i looks like a marine product like those fucking fan supercharger that was faked on ebay. dont fall for this one man. it aint right.

superchargers dont look like this, and they have sensors and are oil cooled. They run up and around 3000-4000 bucks depending on custom projects. They need to be in metal casing to compensate for high pressure not plastic crap.

Not all super chargers bolt up where the intake manifold is located. The Vortec supercharger is similar to this style but is the real deal and it is bolted along the front of the motor.

theres a few diff types of superturbochargers out there......this is probably the most common kind...

and here is your eaton roots style blower.....

The first 2 are just like a turbo, but they dont use exhaust gases to drive the impellar, instead they use a pully and a gear box to speed up the impellar. The last one is a paddle/screw type, there almost the same thing, the kind you see on big dragsters....

i doubt we could ever get a kit for our cars... just too old and the companies would not want to drop the money on research and development on a kit for us..... too bad tho... cause id love to have a supercharged 3g.... best bet would be if you got the money swap in a b series motor and supercharge that
    88 RX-7 Turbo II...a few things

Superchargers are heavy, need wiring adapters, oil lines, and other sensors. There was a civic guy who had a review of his supercharger that he paid 4K for and ended up being in a hell hole. For high price like that, u would be better off with a turbo.

even though they both do the smilar job (forced induction), u have to decide which would be better for an inline lateral 4 cyl engine and a V configuration engine.

I posted about the guy's Civic - he had a Jackson Racing supercharger installed by Jackson Racing. He has mass problems with it and regretted it.

That looks like a venting fan that is sometimes used in paint booths, and in other industrial shops with dust and such.

Jackson racing only makes kits for cars that are like on the top 10 List... or cars that have been a standard Mod car, like mustangs.
