new seats help

im thinking of getting front seats from the junkyard. Theyll be from a mitsubishi eclipse (latest generation) and they look to be small enough so i could make little modification to the brackets so theyll fit. What im asking is will seats from a eclipse fit?
i know how to mod the brackets but i wanna know if theyll be worth it.
theyll charge i think $30 for 1 seat and also what deminsions do i need so i can measure the seats before i pull them out?
i want eclipse seats because the original seats have seat covers on them and theyre unconfortable to me
theyre also silver and black i think. All of the seats i saw from these vehicles looked to have different colors

Only way to know is to try them,I don't think anyone here have tried those seats.

They only dimension I would worry about is the width. Length isn't a problem and they should be short (height) enough to fit in the car, but will they fit between a closed door and the center console...

I was going to try a pair out of a daytona or laser,but never got around to it.

i would get them and try them, if they don't fit, put them on craigslist or something,get your money back
