    Double Gasketing

I read somewhere that people doubled the headgasket to increase the volume of the cylinder.. or sumthin...

Would that help at all? Wouldnt it make everything line up incorrectly?

I'm not sure either but I would rather go with a custom thickness gasket made to order than using two gaskets. Kind of sounds risky.

They make stackable gaskets to lower the compression ratio.

Oh, that would make more sense LOL. I was picturing two Felpro gaskets being stacked...

It wont raise HP on a non-turbo car.

would *doubling* so to speak work in similar fasion to the Hondata intake manifold gasket? lowering the amount of heat being transfered to the intake manifold?

it would slow it down... but the nuts and bolts/studs still are in direct contact as well as the constant air and coolant(on carbed engines at least)

it's best to cool the manifold with air or some remote radiator running on a seperate water pump and fan.

Whoops submited too fast (premature submission) hehehe oh oh oh oh..submit ohhh... But anyways the ram air would cold the entire engine if you didn't have it directly going into the carb like i'm going to be having. I might put reverse scoops on my hood too, don't they suck warm air out?
