    Locations of all rubber bushings

I'm looking to replace/or recondition all the rubber bushings on my 88 LXI to hopefully stop some road noises, could anyone give me a list of all/most important rubber bushings in suspension?
And maybe the engine mount ones as well?

Thanks in advanced! Just bought my first 3g and am starting to love it.

What kind of road noises? Replacing all the bushings is labor or money-intensive, so you should start with the parts that are complaining the loudest.

Road noise comes from bad tires and failing door and window seals. What noises are you hearing exactly?

Welcome to the board, by the way.

Mainly I hear lots of rattling/creaking. I'm 90 percent sure its due to the suspension. I think for now I'm just going to spray them with this rubber reconditioner that I heard works really well.

considering these cars are now at least 25 years old, the odd rattle is to be expected.
the easiest bushes to do are the front and rear uca's, although the rears require the whole arm to be replaced.
sway bar bushes are pretty east as well and can get rid of annoying cornering clunks.

Rattles and creaks usually come from a body that is getting loose and you really can't do much about that. Suspension problems are more along the lines of wobbles, clunks and scrubbing noises. What you should do is get under the car and look at all the rubber. Basically, anywhere a suspension member connects to another there will probably be some kind of bushing or ball joint. If it's wobbly when you pull on it, replace it now. If it's oozing or badly cracked, replace it soon.

Not only do u need to do the lower control arm bushings up front but u probably want to go ahead and do the upper and lower ball joints up front , the upper control arm bolt and bushing , the sway bar bushings, the radius rod bushing , in the rear the first things that goes are the upper control arm bushing and ball joint and the lower strut bolt bushing.
It sounds like a lot but its not really... And do them all at the same time along with a alignment afterwords. I wouldn't pay some shop to do it they will charge u outrageous amounts . Have you ever done any work like this on it ?
