motegi 15" wheels

I was planning to go and look at these wheels. I was looking and 40-44 is the recommended for back spacing. I also found another set of 15's but they had 38mm backspace. I saw these run around $100 per so I figured 250 was fair. I'm just nervous about buying used weels and wondering about them being stolen or hot? I was looking since my 13's are nearly treadless.

I personally think the rotas are nicer and I like the offset too

while the Rotas are very nice, I just don't like that spider web look.

And the Motegi's are also nice but look like they need some work.

Rotas have other options too...and have the 40 offset that we need

Uh, I don't think anyone's going to steel the wheels off of a car like this. Get lug locks. My car came with the OEM set. <3

I received one reply back from the rotas but he must have sold them. The Motegi's he stated they have 5" bs and in looking at measurements that is about 30mm trying a wheel calculator. I'm probably going to keep looking. I still have a 15" set of saturn backwards saw blades I may just use. I liked those rotas.

5 inches = 127 millimeters

^no, that's not how backspacing works.

Backspacing = edge of wheel to mounting surface.

Offset = centerline of wheel to mounting surface.

5" backspacing on 7" wheel = ~38mm.

I may have to go and look at them this weekend then. See if maybe 200 will bring them home.
