there is a slight rattle in the driverside front that just wont go away nothings loose nothing is warn out and its not constant what could it be

my cvs are fine its not a clicking its like a piece of plastic is tapping on metal or something to that effect and why do you think its the water pump?

That's the noise they make. Get a mechanic's stethescope and probe around until you find the source.

sorry i should have clarified it only happens when im driving so the stethiscope doesnt work in this case

You know what.. I had a similar issue and it drove me crazy for about 2 weeks until I looked at my headlamps. There is this little metal piece in between the lamp and the headlamp body, and both of mine were loose and rattling as I drove.
