im new to the site & could use some advice.

so I'm new to the site, I've been looking around and haven't seen any advice for the same problem I'm having. my honda starts up some mornings and really wants to die. so all drive it and the rpm's will skyrocket to about 4000 rpm. it always has kind of a warm up issue, were it needs to warm up for a long time, if I drive it right away the rpm's surge and then it will be stuck like that for awhile. if I give it gas the engine will die a little bit and then surge. also when I'm driving and it hasn't had a chance to warm up correctly the engine will sputter when I give it gas, sometimes when its in gear the car just runs without me giving it gas.it has a mind of its own please help me! Lol

How are you starting the car? (For instance, pump pedal once, slowly release, then turn key?)
