    High performance ground wire?

I read in my import tuner about this performance ground wire. And it was supposed to increase hp. Is this true? I'm only questioning it because they also have ads for $65 supercharge any car, and the tornado fuelsaver increase your hp by up to 15. So is this wire a scam like those? And is this the ground wire that connects to the valve cover and to the car frame? Thanks in advance. :bh:

Yes that is a scam. Its a ground wire for god sakes. It serves a purpose, to ground the electric current.....theres no way in hell it can add horsepower, its electricity for god sakes.

It did say that it had like hardly any resistance. I don't think Import Tuner should allow scams to be put in their magazine. I'm going to write them.

It will increase HP because most eveyrything in modern cars runs off electricity.

if there is resistance parts don't perform the way they should.

such as fuel pumps / ignition coil / sparkplugs
since the plugs grounded to the head, I used a 2 guage wire from the negative battery terminal and bolted it to the left side of the head, then to make sure I wasn't draining current from the battery before it reached the plugs... all other ground wires came off the right side of the head and connected to the chassie, though current flows from positive to negative so that may not make a difference.
I'll see if I can find a pic.

    I found it, HyperGroundSystem www.sunautomobile.com
Supposed to give you increased torque and hp, better throttle response, reduced emissions, brighter head lights, reduced audio noise.

Wow, over $100 , I don't think so. A20A1 What did you use for a ground? Would a good audio ground wire work? Do you just hook it up in one place or are there more than one spot to hook it up?

not sure what makes there copper sooooo special... they did add a bunch of layers in the wire...

You can buy the 2 guage wire from automotive stores... its an actual battery cable.

okay, reading this thread, u need to first get a fucking head. I am with Nate for being upfront. Its a ground wire dammit, u dont need a fucking HIGH PERFORMANCE ground wire to ground it. It does not even matter if the wire has 0 percent resistance or 1% resistance (this is really exaggerated).

Get a 4 gauge wire (a foot or two depending on ur need) from any auido or automotive store and get two crip connectors with a bolt hole from them. if they are of high quality, they should be under 10 bucks max. U dont need to spend 50 bucks on this damn high performance shit.

PS: Audio wires are always low in resistance, so get the wire from them.

a 10 gauge ground strap is more than enough for ANY car unless you have a huge sound system

    Dear 3geez Members:

I want you guys to be the first to know that I am starting a new eBay marketing program that will revolutionize performance modding for ALL cars. I will be selling on eBay "high-performance" electrons for low low prices. Included in the package you will receive the following:

    1. Jar of High-Performance Electrons - these guys are specially genetically formulated from the best neutrino stock available, and raised on electron farms in the nutrient-rich soils of northwestern Brazil.
    2. FREE superconductor ground-wire to complement enhanced performance from the electrons.
    3. FREE six months' supply of electron food and bedding.

The cost of the different sized kits will vary from the Stage I "Street/Strip" package for $150 up to the Stage V "Drag Only" package for a mere $500. Estimated performance gain in an average otherwise unmodified vehicle is 70hp at the wheels. All you do is sprinkle the high-performance electron packet onto the terminals of your battery. (be VERY careful not to let them escape, if this happens we will not be held responsible for any unsatisfactory performance gains)

If you're interested in purchasing one of the kits, I'd like you to know that I am offering a discount of $100 off ANY of our kits to 3geez members, assuming you can get 300 people to agree on ANYTHING for a group buy. :lol

    Thanks!
