    Question

Why would you want to remove your Cruise control, I don't think it take any horses away, and even if it did wouldn't only when you had it on??

The cruise only weighs a pound or two anyway, there isn't really any gain from removeing it other then its not in the bay anymore. If you really want it gone unbolt it and pull it out. The cable attaches to the top of the gas pedal assembly, you have to drop the steering colum and take the pedal assembly out to get at it, unless you have very small hands or are a contortionist. Its easier to just cut it. Don't forget to close off any vacuume leaks.

I dunno I managed to mangle it off the pedal and cut it near the firewall in the engine bay before I removed the cable from the pedal.
