    Re: Rustlude build thread

That's a shame wasn't that the A20 with like 140bhp from a pretty much stock block with a couple of bolt on's?
Probably ignition advance was too much just enough to knock out rod bearing or too much autox and has starved oil possibly. The only time I ever had rod bearing's fail was from ignition advanced too much these engines love less ignition not more mine runs at 11 degress BTC at idles with vac advance off anymore than that starts to loose power with 95 ron gas.

Rich that's a huge compliment coming from you, I am leaning towards rebuilding the motor with some A20a1 pistons and a oil pan baffle

    Re: Rustlude build thread

Ok guys I don't want to do this but the rustlude's chassis is beyond repair for me to take on at the moment, I'm going to strip it down to the shell and start on my new prelude project. And guys don't worry it is still a 2nd gen.

But the biggest problem I have with letting the car go, is I am emotionally attached to it. Like I've been through EVERYTHING with that car for that past 8 years. Its crazy to say I've owned that car this long. From whooping integra type r's at track days to driving it in the snow on track tires lol. I fucking love this car, it gonna be like loosing a close friend, the car was always there through the good and bad times, always started and took me on ride with memories I don't want to go.

Its nuts to say all of this, I've never so attached to something before, I acheived my goal with the car, when I was 15 I wanted a rusty car that went fast, and ever since the someone told me to just sell it and get an integra or civic, I was on a mission to prove everyone wrong.

So my fellow classic prelude members, remember the rustlude and what it has done for the community.
