I Keep Smelling Gas In My Car

i keep smelling gas in my car some times i smell it when i turn on the air or heat anyone know whats causes the car to smell like gas .....and no i didnt spill any on my car cuz i filled it up friday

gas leak or oil leaking onto the exhaust manifold? maybe ur running rich?

i think thats what it is i saw a black spot above my maifold and i never payed attention to it and one day i took the the top of the engine off and i smelled gas all over the place

With your engine runnig check to see if any of your injectors or fuel lines are leaking.

Probably leaking injectors. I smelled gas in the garage for months before I figured it out. Look for the telltale brown spots on the intake behind each injector.

one of the reasons might be ur running rich like DXhatch said. also, it might be ur flex pipe in front of the cat is ripping out. also, u might be leaking pwr steering fluid from the main hose in front of the engine.

By the way, its not in the right section. U should post this in Technical section. man.... this the third time in a day i came across a thread like this.

today i noticed a big black stain on the driver side of the engine could it be oil leaking from the block???
