As far as pistons go just go forged or something. If ur gonna replace em do it right.

And valves, I'd say just get the seats recut, and vavle springs. And p&p if u really wanna. The valve train is pretty solid really.

    T4 (TF-07) off a Mitsubishi Fuso truck

Have get my caliper out and get some measurements..

I'm leaning towards the 272, or maybe call em up and see if they can get me some kind of a turbo grind..

    Re: gfrg88's Prelude build..

Go bisi. It's designed for boost. The 272 isnt really made for a turbo car. It's just a general style grind most companies do for na motors. It runs okay but when was na I didn't notice much of a diff.

    Re: gfrg88's Prelude build..

Tim it's a good cam. Dsm runs em so does the d series the duration is perfect for a turbo app. The turbo cam has a bit less profile. With the right tune he be beast I was breaking em loose easy top end was strong.

Turbo cam just opens an holds the valve open a bit longer then a 272. Do a bit timing via obd1 an wala. Dirty d's with vataras setup pushing 400 horse on a delta.

I'm just saying it's a good cam. Bisi is way over priced for are a series cam.

    Re: gfrg88's Prelude build..

Been researching cams all night and day.. Here's what I've found...

Delta regrind 272-2. Aka the profiled and recreated Bisi 2.4 cam for a third of the price.

yes you heard it here folks.
LOTS of D-series guys saying, and proving on dyno, that delta ("turbo") cams are making more power.. boost response is probably a tiny bit better with bisi, but now worth the money.. I'll take more power (and keep my money) over having better response..

    More updates coming soon....

i was going to mention the 282 and the 272-2 both seem to be great for turbo applications.
