Length of ground wires

Im replacing the engine in my 87 and I was wondering what the length of the ground wires are? I cant get to the car right now, and what wondering what the lengths are and what gauge to get?

Well 4gauge is a good size ground. Are you planning on putting like a 2000w sub in the trunk? If u are I would go 0 gauge. The lengths are on the valve cover is prolly 10-12 inches. The one for the battery to chassis is a little onger and so is the chassis to trans. If u get like 3-4 Of 4gauge wire you'll have plenty of wire.
