    87 carb to efi 87

    Anyone got any info in cost and whats parts are needed?
    I would like to convert to 87 carb to 87 efi or if possible to 88 or 89 because of more hp 122? Any ideas
    87 accord dx auto,k&n air filter, ,performance exhaust 2 inch pipping , black widow alarm 20% tint New escort 8500 radar ! Armrest! console

    if it's ONLY for the howsepower.... it's not worth to convert... if it's for future plans, it will be worth the trouble (like swap of turbo or whatever).

    a Webber carb will give you the same power, for less money and less trouble.

    Carotman has an extensive write up on this in the How-To section. It's very thorough. I think he did leave out that you must swap the fuel tanks, though. Check it out.

    I did it for the little extra power and also the smoothness of EFI - also went with the for that extra little HP too of course. Not to mention my luck with the carb was pure HELL !! ( no Offence )

    17" katana, lude arms, full 2" exhaust/hollowed cat, Ractive intake, centerforce dual friction, msd coil/wires
