I saw a digi dash at pick a part on a 1988 Prelude.
I saw a digi dash at pick a part on a 1988 Prelude.
it was a 2g lude and my mates bought it
anyways back to my car.. i bled the brakes properly today, they feel like shit. need a slightly bigger booster. engine now runs without error codes, but it's gone back to its subaru ways. what a cunt. i installed all my audio though and some more interior. i really wish i knew my motor runs so rough though
I swapped in a stock booster & adjusted it all the way so the pedal will be closer to the floor. brakes work better now, they at least lock up, and stops in a straight line, which is good. they could probably do with a re-bleed though since they still feel a little soft.
engine still running like shit for some unknown reason
so i mixed up a lot of plugs & leads, swapped the coil and sanded the rotor, the car doesnt run like a suby now MEAN jsut a little misfire every now and then. I can live with that. gonna make up a blower > heater duct thing cause i lost mine & foggy windows suck
car is fully road worthy now YAY
installed my wheels
Yay! Wheels look nice
2004-2011?
how many coats of clear did you end up putting on your rims? they look great btw
What color are all of your cars? Paint code?
Isn't that the same color as our SE-i coupe?
2004-2011?
one of the best colours that these cars come in (Y)
thank you
i think it was 2 or 3, they ended up getting that yellowish tinge that you get with spray can clears, but that should make the wheels easier to clean (i hope)
indeed
those grey se-i coupes look quite different to the grey on our cars. unless there was a grey se-i coupe that I don't know about?
I like the se-i grey better, but i'm happy with what I got
the 86-86 and 88-89 grey is different too rememeber on our JDm NH502M cars
Looking good, i was gonna put white mags on my car but i already have trouble keeping those clean
I picked up a grey CA SI 4years back for $200 had really bad paint fade and clear was all peeling and the tranny was buggered no suprise there haha, but do agree its the best colour for these cars and less chance of rust! and it had elec sunroof wish i was in car restoration mode back then and not sold it oh well.
oh yeah that's another good things about the grey ones is they rust less lol. my white ones where pretty bad. what's yours like for rust?
i made a a/c delete till i can find my oem one.
pulled out some scrap metal
cut up & taped in some cardboard
done
this is cool & I know you all agree
Mine looks pretty tidy but has had alot of "work" done by previous owner most of it hidden, i replaced 2 doors that was the worst part for me.
Unless its had one owner and lived in a garage Honda's die so young
lol yep. my first grey one was mint & garage kept by an old lady up until I bought it. pitty i ruined that car
thank you (Y)
I gave the car its first wash today. white wheels are a bitch to keep clean
Looks Awesome, what ya doing to inside, changing all the interior? i wish i had ripped all the exclusive leather out of a '88 Accord at pickapart, that place can be cheap and also a big ripp off!.
indeed. i have exclusive door panels & carpet installed (except for the rear, haven't done that yet) just missing some little bits and pieces for the interior but it's mostly complete lol.
I took the car for a decent drive today, it really sucks at cruising smoothly & it feels underpowered compared to a normal b20a. I don't know why it's running the way it is
