gold top b20 motors have more power, but the only differences between the two are emission related due to new emission standards that came in in 1988 or something...

i dunno if they are available where you are, but if you look hard enough you will find one, but good luck finding a manual gearbox for it.
probably cheaper to do a b series conversion that to import one from over here..

and back to my car, i have acquired a full set of king springs that i have no idea what they're from, but they look like they'll fit in my car, so I'll try them out. also made up a new exhaust which sounds nice and doesnt rattle. got me some mint 205/55/15 tyres for the rear. yay. also bought a new sub, just need a good enough amp to use it to its full potential now.

pics when i remember lol. i stuck the rear king springs in and they raised the car (probably cause i had to put another spring-sitty-onny-thing on the stock spring-sitty-onny-thing)
also discovered the shocks are really fucked lol. i knew they where bacd, but did't know they where THAT bad
are the shocks that fucked they squirt oil at you haha i had that happen once at work
when i put the kings in my car, i threw all the rubber bits that the springs sit on and the bit at the top of the spring in the bin. with just low kings and 205/50/15s i was 5mm above the old 100mm ground clearance. whack a bloody great sub box in the boot and a tow bar, and you will be good.
Moar low or GTFO.
slight update, car is on its 4th motor now, seems to be reliable now. i got me a free parts car at work
and a couple hours later, after i got everything i wanted
lol. got me some new tail lights, retractable rear seat belts, mint dual core copper radiator with a mint cap, and lots of other random shit
i also have a couple subs & amps in the back now. goes loud
i should get some pics of my car cause it looks good now

bump. update time. i put a new towbar on my car cause the old one started splitting. i got me some of those chromey things that go over the stock exhaust tips to make them bling. i done a bunch of other things to that I can't remember.... and gave the car a good cleaning which only happens like once a month
heres my current boom setup. the box was made for my old sub, it's a bit small for this one i think
at least i get to keep most of my boot space

i am beginning to think i should have kept those louvers now
the clutch has had a good run, since i've had it i've prolly towed a good 50 or so cars with it
speaking of the louvers i used some liquid nails to stick the clips to the glass & some duct tape for extra peace of mind, they've been on there for about a month now with no sign of failure
can i haz motor?
