P/S High Pressure Hose

My high pressure hose has a leak. Looking for the best deal on one, but I am seeing several different hoses. I have an '89 Lxi, which hose do I need, the cheap or expensive one? Anyone have a brand that they know is good to get?

don't buy the cheap one, you also may be able to take the old one to someone who builds hydraulic hoses, and they may be able to make a new hose with your existing fittings

Asked a few of the hydraulic hose shops here, they said they didn't do that but could try to make fittings that matched. I described the one with all the bends and the guy quoted me $150.

Did this last fall on the 89 LXi 5 spd (2dr coupe). I got mine from Gates.........forget the price, can look it up if needed. I just trust the brand.
