They ARE missing the caps which I don't mind but honestly I don't think I would like them if they had the caps on. The shop I work at has some enkei 92s but they are out of my budget so I'll be rocking these for a while!

Thanks and you should do it just make sure you do a top hat mod so you don't blow out your shocks.

    Re: obdriver6's 89 coupe update

Well after waiting for months I was lucky enough to find another black prelude seat and after the drop I finally installed them! I really like the black/beige combo I have in my car.

    Prelude!

    Clean!

Also, a couple of days ago while I was working on the fog lights the sky turned kind of freaky here in vegas and my neighbor was outside. He told me if I wanted to take a picture of it with my car with his camera, I was like "HELL YEAH!" He told me that he would need to combine two pics so both the car and sky come out clear. It was a quick photoshoot cause it only lasted like 10 min.

This wasn't that great, I felt like it needed more of an angle!

    This was much better!

He also did some crazy things with the pics!

    My favorite!

I wish I could of taken them on top of a parking lot or on an open field, oh well!...All that matters is if they're comfortable.

Took some time to read/view your thread from the beginning, impressive progress.
Don't like the wheels (too much USA style for my taste) and the blue on top off the bumpers, but for the rest, i'm lovin it!

Done now? Or more plans for the future?

I admire your dedication with this car, you have a good father that help.
Here is the best picture of your car imo, lighting makes this picture complete. Love how it looks after repaint and smoking all signal lights.

I was going to ask, did you do anything to the camber? when you lower more than 1.4" you cant adjust any more out. I ate my good tires within one summer. Look into Prelude control arms for the front, they are relatively cheap and give more adjustment options. Well set suspension makes up for less power.

What blue are you talking about? Like I said before, They're better than OEM but I"m thinking 16" later on! ............Done! Not really, I have many plans! lol

Thanks and yes, a lot of this is thanks to my dad and I couldn't have done it without him! I do have prelude control arms but I can't seem to find them!

I meant the car color on top of the front and rear bumper, but now i see it was already like that before you painted it. I think all CA accords in Europe have black on top of the bumper. After looking a bit harder i see it's a complete different bumper than on my '89. Must be the facelift i read about. For as far as i know Europe never had the facelift models.
And about the wheels, i'm in the same situation, don't like mine, but need the money for more important things...
    All in good time.

So, what are your plans, if i may ask?

    Re: obdriver6's 89 coupe update

^^ I know that the hatchback didn't get a facelift bumper, maybe the aerodeck didn't get one either........Like I said before, I do want some 16" rims, get new bushings and ball joint, better suspension set up, 11" rotor upgrade and a bunch of other little stuff that I can't remember but hopefully this year I can get a B20B/Z in it!

    Update time!

Since I last posted, nothing has been done to the car. lol I did decide to re-polish and paint my wheels so the car is rolling on temporary wheels till i'm done. I also bough some goodies for my car that I've been waiting for for some time. I'll see if I can post pics later today.

A little late but here it is.

I finally found my prelude arms, bastards were hiding from me!

I bought some whiteline bushings and sway bar end links.

This is how my wheels looks after some elbow grease. You guys think I can get them any better?

teh new wheels are very cool and flash. although I like the other ones better cause they look more classy, instead of that average japanese car lowered on black/polished wheels

New/temp wheels are 10x better. The style of the old ones just don't flow well with an accord. But other then that maddd props. I'm in love with that color all of a sudden...

They do looks good but I just feel that they don't fit my car, if you know what I'm saying. Once I do an engine swap, I MIGHT be able to qualify for AOM if they bring it back! lol

Thats what I mean. I'll get the old wheels back on once I'm done with them.

Like I said, they look good but they don't "WOW" me. Besides I can't keep these wheels cause they rub in the back big time with enough weight....... Cause you know its the perfect color for a 3gee! lol

I could do that.......... but I don't want to! :p lol

I can't keep those wheels. 1) They are not mine, they are my dads, 2) I have to pay him $500 if I want to keep them (which I dont! lol) and 3) he plans on using them on a classic we have on storage!.......I'll have my old wheels back on by tomorrow!
