    Question brass radiator

So I found a rad in a junked 88 EXI that seemed in decent shape.I took it out and when I got home started looking it over and found out that it is brass.I have never seen a brass rad for these ,every one I have seen was plastic I started cleaning it up and I think I have some leaks to fix.but not bad find for 20 bucks.

The first replacement radiator I put in mine in 2000 was all metal with painted brass tanks. After just three years the solder joints holding the bottom tank on started cracking and leaks developed. The manufacturer made good on the lifetime warranty and shipped me a new one. That one had plastic tanks and has been on the car since December of 2003. So, I'm not sure if that is indicative of anything, but I would stick with the plastic tanks models.
