How do you guys get the 02 sensor out on an 89 accord dx carbed coupe? There is hardly any room to maneuver and mine seems to be rusted in solid because it won't seem to budge... Any tips or tricks?

you have to use pb blaster or liquid wrench. they have a special O2 sensor remover and then it comes out. might take a few tries

what i do is smash the fuck out of the sensor and stick a socket and a big bar on it
i used a 7/8 wrench and started turning and in seconds it was off.

Thanks for all the help and suggestions guys. You guys truly are helpful. I was able to remove my heat shield and that totally exposes the sensor. So I soaked her with pb blaster and she came out no problem. No big hammers required this time lol. I got this replaced and the cap, rotor, and some new plugs and she passed echeck with flying colors... I noticed when I had the cap off there was oil inside my distributor and I'm guessing this isn't normal? Is this a sign that the dizzy oring needs replaced? If so I'd assume you also have to replace the valve cover gasket at the same time correct? I was planning on attempting the timing belt as well this summer and the water pump also. Anybody have a list of what all to replace while the timing belt is being done?
It means your distributor is toast.
