    Ksport kontrol Pro

ok i have been riding on kyb gr2's for about 4 years with ground control coil overs and am tired of it. i bottom out the front end on even the smallest bump. i am gonna order a set of Ksport full body coil overs this weekend. i have read many reviews and they seem mixed but it seems like i need something that is adjustable and alot more durable that what i have now. any input or thoughts on this? i have the extra $$$ and amd read to finish this project... minus a show car paint job.

I have the Ksports but i have not put that many miles on them to really give you any imput. They look nice and provided they hold up well then its not a bad setup. They seem nice and firm and not bouncy like low end setups.

full body, 36w adjustable... 10 & 12k rates i think? or maybe thats just my setup..

at first when they came out they had a problem with leaking.. but that was fixed after a few revisions.

i beat the hell out of mine on the race track for over a year... they seem to hold up pretty good going sideways from the flat center of the race track onto the bank at 50-80kph.. haven't blown them up yet like everything else i had in my car..

i'm not nice to the car at all when i'm at the track.. i drive it like i stole it..

i blew up brand new stock struts w/sleeves the day after i put them in on the race track by repeatedly hitting the banks. from the center.. waste of 150 bucks. (the course is setup to transition between the 2 surfaces to utilized the whole area). mind you, stock struts dont like to be slammed..

Test rode in Peres hatch with his ksports. Didn't see any problem. Go for it. Only ppl who give bad reviews on ksports r ppl who never owned them or ppl who expect them to ride like a stock car when slammed on the stiffest settings(240 guys lulz)

I replaced all my bushings, lower ball joints, and front wheel bearings. Now i have to install the rear arm bushing kit, get prelude upper arms, and i will probably buy new sway bars.

    Re: Ksport kontrol Pro

i also love the fact that u lower the car by adjusting the lower mount instead of the spring perch like crappy coil overs. u get the drop u need without losing travel. been driving the fuck outa the coupe and cant even bottom out. i was even worried about the bump stops. on my old set up i had to remove the bump stops to get as low as i needed with out hit them. on the ksports they are soft enough to not creat a hard bump but also stop the body roll and hold the car at a precice height when hitting a hard turn. highly recomended to all.
