    oil pan

    Hi,
    does anyone know how much do i have to torque the oil pan bolts. I am changing oil pan gasket tomorrow, and i don't know what the torque specs.

    Accord to my mitchell-on-demand it says

    OIL PAN BOLT 84 INCH. Lbs. or 9 N.m.
    OIL PAN NUT 84 INCH. Lbs. or 9 N.m.

    just tighten them snug, if you over-tighten them the gasket will break open. You can always tighten them a bit more if it's too loose but if you over tighten you got to do it all over again.
