    Re: MessyHonda's B swap

Since my other car was totaled its time to spend time and money on the 3gee.

ever since I did the timing belt the thermostat that I bought was not very good(napa auto parts) it would overheat at stop lights and then after driving it would go back to normal temp. I bought an OEM one but I was wanting to upgrade my cooling system so I bought the Mishimoto racing thermostat. I also flushed my cooling system. now the car is running better and it has a good idle and bottom end.

Ever since last years JCCS on my way back i picked up a nail on my rear tire so i had mis-matching tire sizes in the back. Now i was doing my research and the Yokoyamas S Drive had good reviews. so i picked up 2 new rear ones. Front tires are at 60% so i will pick some up when i have to rotate them.
here is a pic of my 4th gen rear sway bar and justin lower tie bar.

    Re: MessyHonda's B swap

I have done a few upgrades to the car over the last couple months because its now my daily driver.

    Installed PLM RMF narrow headers

had to cut and box plate the front crossmember to make the header fit.

the header collector is 2.5 inch its straight piped to a 2.25 inch magnaflow exhuast. also got to retune the car with the new header.
final numbers. very impressive for just bolt ups. I have fully functioning power steering too. im happy with the motor and the way it pulls. my low end torque is much better and it pulls alot harder in all the power brand.

lol. yeah its strong as it but i cant wait till Chedda makes us some traction bars. On the Dyno i can see my wheel move a bit even with the poly bushings. My plans is to finally finish my suspension. i want to get my rear konis rebuilt since they are leaking. maybe upgrade to some ground controls. my radiator needs replacing but i would like to have a full size radiator. trying to see if the CRX or the DA radiator will fit

I need a new thermostat myself. My car is having the same symptoms yours was having. How much did the Mishimoto thermostat run you?

x2. That's true Aaron. Do you know who makes the OEM thermostat for these cars?

Jesse.. found your thread haha. That isnt too bad of a notch in the crossmember .. pretty good numbers too.
If you want a full size rad, I have been really happy with my mishimoto rad for the crx full size. The bottom rad mounts needed to be relocated and then the rad has places to bolt through the sides to the rad support. Overall it fits really well and I never have any issues with coolant temps.
