Yeah I think people that say that should at least back it up. Provide a link, or keyword. Not bitch about how "This question has been answered..."

I would search using words related to the question I would want answered. For example...

A search using some pretty obvious words (as suggested by anchovies) yielded these results on the first page:

    https://www.3geez.com/showthread.php?...SWITCH+shifter

    https://www.3geez.com/showthread.php?...SWITCH+shifter

One of them was titled 'switch?' Wow, that was difficult...

Then maybe you should have included that in your original post. Don't be such an ass dude. I'm sure many of your first posts were just like his. As were mine. Tough.

Actually I went back and read all of the posts back through April 2002 before I posted more than a couple times so this wouldn't happen to me. Next time I'll go ahead and include the search link in the first post though. I didn't mean to be an ass, it just seems like this is one of the five or ten questions that gets asked around once every month or two. It probably belongs in the FAQ with 'what does the black lever under the steering column do?'

christ, people know nothing about their cars. read the manual. Or, use the switch and see what happens... then put two and two together.

That sounds like a good idea at first, but consider what would happen if an 'EVIL Noob' took that newfound knowledge to a site like Google or Ebay???? It very well could be the end of life as we now know it!!!:lol :lol :lol

Junk yard is the easiest place to find one for our finely aged cars. Pain in the a$$ to replace. I originally popped in a standard antenna because when I first got my car, it was working, barely. The antenna was broke in three places.
