    Proud

All I have to say it that I'm happy to say I belong to this forum, even though there are few of us, we give each other credit and help each other and keep each other in check, and on track.

But I would like to get more members, ones who would like to contribute their builds does anyone have any ideas?

    Re: Proud

One of the things i was thinking of was trying to figure out a way to get all the old classic prelude builds that really got interest back into the preludes. Builds like Richs (you can/ kind of have), Down Hill Dog, Driver GT5, Chris Dodge, Funky, ect... Try and get Shady Pro (i'm FB friends with him), Smeado, Cygnus, Rodney, ect more active over here. I think we should try really hard to make this elite information station. I our cars are getting good, but really are nothing without them. We need to stick to our roots, remember our history while we make history. Remember why we have stuck with these things... Maybe even create an ideas thread where bounce ideas or try and solve potential problems with our cars on here...

You guys should get with the mod of this section, and start building some content and posting some stickies with good, solid information. The more good, organized info that is presented right up front, the more search engines will bring people here for Prelude information, and the more people will refer others to, and link to this site. Even some stickies with model / year information, common problems and fixes can help bring more traffic in and that stuff also helps keep noob questions down as well.

Alright.. So as much as I really didnt want to give in, im here. 2g pp.com is really getting annoying. I love that site and the regulars on there.. That being said, iam sick of people asking weather they shoud build their a20 or swap an h22 into their 2g honda prelude... Knowing 99.9% wont do anything at all to their cars, and they will disappear forever. So im gonna give you guys a shot.. Please dont fail me as my 2g community. Or else ill just stick with S/W..

Hey Rodney! I'm glad your willing to give us a shot for sure, of course I too need to step it up! I'd love to see of the great Luders from pp.com post more on here, as an avenue to get away from the silliness sometimes. Of course we'd love to see your build but no pressure! Anytime will always be a good time! Your car is amazing, and of course the opossum story on pp.com had me laughing... knowing that I to have had that same experience... either way, hopefully more will trend this way for the same reasons you have.

    Re: Proud

Lol this is starting to become the elite group of ludes now! :0)
Is true though like most forums you get swamped with peeps with unrealistics expectations of what they can do, and although we know anything can be done but it really is a case of you need to sink some serious money to do it! Just look at all the money we have all spent in the past and present, and then luke at Maxx's H22 build from the specialist shop which cost some serious dollar! Well into 5 figures and then people think they can do the same for $2000!!! Does get tiring indeed! doh!
Anyway good to see someone else popping on here too it gets way to quiet this lot are not the most talkative bunch! lol!

    Re: Proud

hahaha, no its totally true... when you get a group of people this dedicated, alot of stuff just happens, no questions... we just DO. I believe Rich has perfected the document the DO effort for the dreamers to read about... I think we can all work on the document of DOing... we are all doing stuff all the time, and we never write/talk(lol) about our doings... Time to step it up a notch!

Man.. I dont think the internet wants me to post the rest of my build thread. Twice now I have had the thing 3/4 of the way through and something happens. Damn computer shuts off. I promise there is more. I dont think it'll be much of a "build thread". I dont have that many photos of the process. and honestly, my memory sucks ass. So, as soon as I can get access to a computer again, Ill finish her up.

Guilty...I have a bunch of projects going on, but nothing is compete so i don't post about it. also I am bad about lurking, I'm on PP and 3geez daily. but I rarely post.

Also I have been working on my projects without my prelude around so it is kinda weird and I can't really post results, but more coming from me in the upcoming months as hopefully life settles back down.

    Re: Proud

Lol we forgive you! glad to see you pop up here though!
Just gone and spent some more money on the Beemer though mrs isn't happy but got such a good one off discount it had to be done! and it will save me fuel and give the turbo and better life not to mention it will make it run faster even more!! hahaha!!
Think I may have to strip the honda head down again as it's smoking like a trooper on over run hopefully not a piston but my dodgy valve stem seals. Other than that it's running unbelievably well I'd hate to imagine what the Honda would be like with a full race header, a slightly more aggressive camshaft with more lift and bit more compression!! I think 230-250bhp in one of these cars with the weight as low as mine is a very scary proposition! It's plenty scary with just 200bhp! lol!

    Re: Proud

Smeado!!! I too have more work that needs to be done! Got a dodgy valve seal kn the exhaust side too, however until i get this pcv system worked out, I'll never 100% know whats happening in there for sure. Smeado you need to start a random picture thread of your own on here... even if its of that weird civic you had for awhile there that had the b20 in it... hell that may have been someone else too!

    Re: Proud

Smeado don't worry I do the same thing I lurk all the time, I need to be better about posting on here. But one project at a time I'm starting to get mine down to one, so im more focused.
