1988 fuel system.

I have a 1988 Honda accord which has a new fuel pump, fuel relay, and new filters. I have been working on it and got it to the point to where it was running, but when I went to start it nothing happened. I tested the fuel pump and it won’t run. I tested the fuel pump to make Shure that it had power going to it, and that the ground was good. I also took a wire and connected it to the battery and nothing happened so i know the fuel pump is dead. My question is there anything that will mess up a new fuel pump?

where did you get the pump? i would take it back and tell them it doesnt work. and get another.

when i got my car driving again, i bought one of these from this guy.
its a way better deal than parts stores that want $100 + for them.
