I need help, I'm new here

I bought an 85 this week and I love. But it's has it's flaws any 25 year old car would. Here it goes, my power steering works when doing small turn, but when I get into tighter turns it feels like the car had no power steering, any help? Thanks

First thing i would do is make sure the power steering belt is tight and check the fluid level make sure its full.

I checked the fluid its almost full, ill fill it up once I can. And the belt I haven't checked the belt thanks.
