    Ebay Camshaft

So what's up with this camshaft?
Really cheap IMHO, but a bit low changes isn't it?

Can anybody tell more about it?

    Specs according to the seller:
Hydraulic, .266" Intake Cam Lift And .262" Exhaust Cam Lift, 218 Degree Intake Duration And 225 Degree Exhaust Duration, All Durations Measured At .050"

    EDIT: Link works now!

My guess would be it's just a stock replacement cam. Doesn't look to be anything special.

I've got a spare cam (from my parts car). Just need time to disassemble it.

Just curious: Is there a reason why you recommend Delta or Colt, without mentioning Bisimoto (for instance)? Just asking, cause I was thinking about getting one from Bisi at first!

Sorry I know that Lost made the comment but my guess would be because Delta and Colt do performance regrinds to your stock core that are similar to the new Bisimoto cams for a lot less money.

Hmm I don't know the prices of Delta and Colt, but Bisimoto does regrinds for the A20 as well. Level 1 or 2 for USD 250.

I never had one done by them but is seems like I read somewhere in the forums that someone had one done by them for around $100 plus shipping of course. Easiest way to find out though is contact them

I'm not affiliated with Delta just passing info along but from my experience the $250 for a regrind Bismoto is charging is a ridiculously high price most places that do regrinds charge $80 or less. I can buy brand new cams for my B series for 330 and that's for 2 cams. A brand new 535 lift 274 duration cam for my 4 cylinder Ford is only $202 I know that's apples and oranges but $250 for a regrind really? Wow!!!! They are really proud of their stuff.

U gotta pay for the rnd time they spend making these cam specs. Thats why they charge more. U all kno aseries stuff doesnt sell fast at all so they have to upcharge a bit to make their money back faster. Its all part of running a business

I'm having a delta cam done myself, they have already been proven on here, so why pay more then twice as much, I read about the company somewhere and I was very impressed by the technology they use and the effort they put into their cams. they aren't just welding on some metal, they are completely reworking the cam, including a full heat treat and a straightening of the entire thing.

Rockauto lists that cam as a stock replacement. The specs look totally wrong though. The lift specs are probably at the cam lobe instead of the valve, so you would multiply by whatever the rocker ratio is. The durations are too high for 0.05" lift. They would be closer to 200 degrees for a stock cam.

The cheapest cam upgrade is a Delta regrind.

Yeah Lost if you go to their website they actually have videos of them doing and explaining their processes. It's pretty cool stuff to watch.
