I have heard that the 2g ludes have a tubular mani on some but out of the 4 yards that are in town i have just found the cast ones. just wondering if anyone has seen one or has one to sell?

I've never seen or heard of one, it's the same a20 as in the three g, if you have to use a stock manifold, look for the later lxi ones with better manifolds
whats the difference between the two
dunno about a-series, but a i put a prelude exhaust manifold on my car cause it didnt have that EGR pipe. that was the only difference
see but i do remember for some reason seeing one on a 85 lude in the junk yard and it had a heat shield on it when i was pulling a head off
There are at least 3 different exhaust manifolds on the A engines. The differences are: single or dual down pipe, one or two O2 sensors, Additional side port for air suction. All of them have an EGR port*. All are cast iron. If you find a tube manifold at a junkyard it is most likely a Pacesetter. They are fairly common and still available on the aftermarket.
All the exhaust manifolds are interchangeable as far as the port pattern goes. The dual down pipe versions flow a little better I think. Obviously you would need the matching down pipe for whichever version you have. The two sensor version would work of course with only one sensor, just plug the extra hole. Air suction only exists on carbed cars, so if you have to pass emissions then you need one with the extra port. The engine will happily run without air suction though.

* Outside the US you may find ones without EGR. In the US though EGR is pretty much universal since the 1970s.
