from Maple Valley, WA. I've got an 81 hatch as well that I drive regularly. We definitely need more pics! Looking good so far though. Not sure how the spray tint would look on the lights really, since they're just the regular round lights. Maybe would look kinda sinister if you blacked out all the chrome on the front. Problem is you'd have to re-tint the lights every time one burnt out. Unless you bought H4 conversions or something...

Or do you mean tinting the lights yellow? I guess that would make more sense... A few people here have done that, and it looks pretty good! I'm probably going to do mine up like that one of these days.

To me before I bought it. That was a fiberglass packed muffler. Ive since gotten rid of that, it made it sound a little too ricer for my taste. Did I mention I got this car for 800 bucks?

Good for you haha. I don't like it either, although I would like to have some nice deep sound coming out of my exhaust.

Now you did. 800 is a good price!
Got plans with it, besides painting the lights?

I want to paint it from the waistline down black and paint the stock wheels black and bring it down a couple inches. And then im going to rip out the motor and clean it up. Get rid of the smog stuff. Along with the ac compressor and do a minor tuck of sorts.like battery relocation and a few other minor changes.
