Something that should have taken half an hour turned into quite a project just because someone didn't even TRY to take it apart. Grrrr!
I used to feel this way too and took great care when disassembling junkyard cars. Then one day, I realized that the car I was going to such great lengths to save was only days away from being ground into confetti. I laughed at myself and have been pretty care-free with the Pick-A-Part cars since. LOL

It's nice that you try to pay it forward though.

Well, I actually haven't been to a jy that let you pick your own parts in years. The one I was working on was my aunts minivan. But I understand what your saying. I am sure there are two sides to the coin, but I was making the point that in my case it would have taken very slightly longer to take the hose clamp off rather than just cut the line.

Well, it's on and working. I need to check the timing, but I only had a few minutes and ran out of time when I was trying to find the plug over the flywheel. It feels like it might be a little bit too far advanced at cruising speed. Especially when trying to climb hills with the cruise on. I'll get that checked soon though.

Thanks for all the help guys.

Glad you got it fixed.... the plug covering the flywheel marks is close to where the engine code (BS-BT-A20Ax) is located. Look for the area where the engine block meets the transmission case and you will get there
If it ain't broke... I fix it!
