Welcome to the site. For parts your only choices are ebay, junkyard, or a member selling them here. We dont have a whole lot of after market support.

If you wanna put a filter down there then your gunna have to pull the box out.

If you want a true CAI then you have to remove the bumper and the box!

does that mean the intake pipe will fit in though that stock opening in said box? im sure this will be easier once i get into it.

    pic of my 3gee

so i think im missing a splash guard where my intake would hang. i mean there is a clear path from the tire to that box for the stock intake inside the fender well. so i guess im off to the pick and pull. not enough posts yet for a want ad. maybe on facebook.

If you want a perfect fit then you want a 2" piping for the stock opening. No cutting will be required unless you want bigger piping. You can do a 2pc CAI or a 3pc. Its up to you how you want it. I have 2" pipe and it fits and I didnt cut anything. you dont need remove the bumper, you can just move the mud guard off and you'll have enough room to take off the box.

    Re: New here

so i decided against the CAI, and might just cut the Injen i have. i am on part 2/3 of my auto trans fluid change as if may never have been done. i adjusted the TV cable maybe just a tad too tight. seems like the trans will hang at 3k for a bit before shifting. really long for final drive too. punch it, and she downshifts hard and maybe near 6k before shifting lol. scarey from the way it used to drive. any input or comments welcome. might not be a tranny issue, but the MT swap may come faster than expected.
