wow it totally looks like the RR hub is so bent that you can't even fit the factory wheel on it, or even a space saver, so it looks like you had to bolt the space saver on backwards!

First person ever to convert a Type R to 4x100.

Pretty clean shell though. Sucks that they painted the decklid black, considering the jams are white. People are idiots.

    Re: Aaron's ITR!

moar progress tonight. ripped out old loom and put in new climate control heater boxes to replace the shitty old dial heater controls. and the OBD1 wiring loom (ITR is OBD2 which is useless to me)

dash is now sitting in place.

This looks like it is going to be a long endeavor, but as long as you are not in a rush, I'm sure it will come out just fine.

I know that Australia has very stringent rules for any modified vehicle, but would this also be the case for New Zealand?

    Re: Aaron's ITR!

i think aussie is worce. over here you can get away with mods if the car is certified as safe by a registered certifier guy that charges you 400 bucks and tells you to put in a CAT then you get a plate riveted to your engine bay that tells you what engine and suspension and wheels you MUST have to pass wof. and if you change any of those a re-cert is required. fuck that, im keeping it b series haha

    Re: Aaron's ITR!

so since it already has a cert for adjusties, wouldn't you 'legally' need teh sized wheels that the cert tag thingy says?

    Re: Aaron's ITR!

big update. the interior is in and i have borrowed an engine so i could drive it to auckland and pick up a new pair of doors. no more bog filled rusting door!

    pics:
sir interior installed. will do for now

body is rough here and there, will require a WHITE bootlid at some stage and maybe a new bonnet as theres a ugly dent in the front of this one, both bumpers also need attention too. teks Hard boi

temporary engine, original B18CR, used about a litre of oil going to auckland and back, smokes like a bitch. cant expect too much the cars had a hard life and done 210000kms

running OBD1 with a chipped P08 and a stock crome b18cr map. Engine is mated to a open diff Y21 gearbox i got for $80 from a EG9. Had a fucked diff so i swapped another open diff in for now as i was in a hurry to get the car working. i have a ITR LSD to put into this box eventually.

Mugen power. 4-1 header into 2.5" jasma plated mandrel exhaust system and out a FGK muffler, sounds way better than the shit ass fart can it used to have.

got 4 new tyres going on the dc2 wheels this saturday!
    awesome. Next step: B20VTEC...........
